Thunderbolt: The Bewildering Journey of Tun Fo Tong Zi

In 2268, a game developer turned a dress-up game into a full-dive online game. To make even more money, they gave every outfit its own story and made the powers from those stories part of the game, too. Lian Cheng had always been a devoted player of a certain dress-up game. This time, the developer boasted that the full-dive game would feature not only more detailed outfits and characters, but also romance with destined lovers. It was a revolutionary leap into a new era, they said. Every NPC would have a high degree of autonomy, and the game would simulate the real world with one hundred percent accuracy! To thank longtime players, each one would be randomly given a fifty percent chance of receiving a set of outfits. Even a certain dress-up game was being unusually generous for once.

Lian Cheng eagerly bought the full-dive equipment and put a hundred thousand into her account to make future top-ups easier. But after logging in, she appeared before a snowy wilderness and met her first destined lover, Yijian Fengchan. No matter how she tried to win him over, his affection stubbornly stayed at fifty percent and refused to budge. In a fit of anger, Lian Cheng took advantage of their drunkenness and slept with Yijian Fengchan, who was only half-heartedly resisting.

Then she dusted off her hands and left. Later, Yijian Fengchan transformed into Tun Fo Tong Zi, making it even less likely that he would come after her. She could continue playing the field with a clear conscience!

One day, Tun Fo Tong Zi returned from a mission and passed by a certain place. There he saw the woman who had once been entangled with Yijian Fengchan, now weeping before a handsome young man. "I once loved someone, but then he changed into someone else and never came back. He could even abandon his friends. What does that make me?"

The handsome young man looked at her with deep sympathy. Tun Fo Tong Zi was so angry he laughed. So, she had fallen for someone else. Fine. But how dare she put him, Tun Fo Tong Zi, down while she was at it?

The wicked demon stopped and walked over to them. "I never meant to abandon you... Tisi..." Sure enough, the woman froze. The demon's mood instantly brightened.
