Blurb:
Because of a stomachache, Yan Yin went to a traditional Chinese medicine hospital for treatment. That was where she met Fang Yidai for the first time.
The other woman asked gently, "Where does it hurt?"
"My stomach."
Fang Yidai nodded. "Give me your hand. I'll take your pulse."
Yan Yin held out her left hand and pushed up one sleeve, revealing her fair wrist.
"Rest it on the pulse pillow." Dr. Fang pointed at a small gray rectangular pillow on the desk.
Yan Yin did as she was told.
Looking down, she noticed how long and pale the other woman's fingers were, and how neatly trimmed and clean her nails looked. Yan Yin's own nails were quite long, painted a caramel-persimmon shade she'd just bought, making the contrast between them striking.
She had thought their meeting would be nothing more than a brief episode in her life, and that they would never see each other again. She never expected to run into her at a restaurant.
As it turned out, they knew the same people and were friends.
Before Fang Yidai left, she looked Yan Yin in the eyes. "We're friends, so let's add each other on WeChat."
And so they exchanged contact information. Yan Yin assumed the chat would soon lie dormant. But later, they kept running into each other more and more often, and for a while, they even became next-door neighbors.
One night after they became neighbors, Fang Yidai knocked on her door to... borrow some vinegar.
Who borrows vinegar these days? Yan Yin found a bottle and handed it to her.
"Thanks for the vinegar." Fang Yidai smiled at her. "I'll treat you to a meal sometime to thank you."
So the next day, they had a meal together. After that, they started meeting up more and more often.
During a camping trip in the wilderness, Yan Yin and Fang Yidai unexpectedly discovered that the first seven digits of their phone numbers were exactly the same.
*
That night, after they confessed their feelings and got together, Yan Yin asked Fang Yidai, "When did you fall for me?"
"Probably the first time we met."
Did that count as love at first sight? Yan Yin thought. She'd felt the same way, actually.

"Summer Meets Summer" next door is currently being serialized~ Copywriting: On the way back to Nancheng on the high-speed train, Xia Jun met Han Tuo, who was fashionably dressed and looked out of place with the people on the car. Because a child in the seat next to him made a noise, which caused dissatisfaction among the passengers, he offered to change seats with the person next to him. Xia Jun: It doesn't matter who you sit next to. Han Tuo: This is the first step to understanding. "Are you from Lincheng?" Han Tuo asked with a smile as his peach blossom eyes stared at her. "No." Xia Jun shook his head. Strange young men and women gradually have a common topic of conversation because of an anime. Not long. Han Tuo asked her a question casually: "Do you believe in love at first sight?" Xia Jun's originally peaceful expression suddenly turned cold. "Are you kidding me?" Han Tuo suppressed the casual smile on his lips: "I'm not kidding." Xia Jun looked at him: "I don't believe it. Generally speaking on the Internet, this is called lust." She thought her encounter with Han Tuo would be limited to the high-speed train, but she didn't expect that this was just the beginning... *Realism vs Romanticism *1v1. *Cool female vs yuppie male. Unemployed graphic designer vs homeless CEO. *The male protagonist starts out curious about the female protagonist and ends up falling in love. *The first part of the journey, the second part of urban life.
