Ding Xuan is an actor, a veteran who's been in the industry for nearly thirty years, having debuted as a child star and won countless awards.
With his thirtieth birthday approaching, Ding Xuan prepared a TV series as a gift to himself. He took great care with every aspect, from the director and script to the cast, costumes, and props.
Most of all, he personally recruited Liu Shen, the actor playing the male lead, from a supermarket. Liu Shen had no acting experience, but Ding Xuan trained him into exactly the actor he liked best.
At the wrap party, a drunk Liu Shen suddenly hugged Ding Xuan and, leaning close to his ear, asked in a plaintive voice if he could give him a kiss. Just one.
Ding Xuan: ???!!!
Could it be that the person in my arms is the real gift I prepared for myself?!
