After his girlfriend of two years cheated on him, Zhou You was utterly heartbroken. He went to a bar to drink himself into a stupor, then somehow ended up going home with a strange woman that night.
The next morning, he woke up to discover that she was Cui Ruoyu, a hugely popular Best Actress, and also a high school classmate he'd briefly crossed paths with.
She had clearly forgotten who Zhou You was. With a slight, intrigued smile, she asked, "We had pretty good chemistry last night. Want to be with me?"
After being with Cui Ruoyu for six months without any official status, Zhou You was the one who suggested they split up.
Cui Ruoyu was reading a script at the time. Her fingers froze at his words, and she slowly looked up at the person before her, her expression unreadable. "Haven't I treated you well?"
"It's not that."
"Then why?"
Zhou You lowered his head and smiled bitterly.
Wasn't it you who said we should break up if we ever fell in love?
