*The main story picks up from the above and follows the long road to winning back his beloved in the next life, so the focus is on a lighthearted romance where they both pursue each other.
*The Supreme God Shang Si is adored by everyone and has loved A Qi from beginning to end. There are other reasons behind his actions!
*Though Shang Si is the Supreme God, he is pure-hearted and devoted. A woman from the Shang family will appear as a longtime family friend, but there is nothing between them! Their daughter is not their biological child! More plot twists to come.
*There are many reincarnations in this story, most of them deliberate.
*The shou, A Qi, is not at all feminine. He can be both tough and gentle.
*The ending won't be perfectly happy. Life rarely works out that way.

The setting is rather complex, centered on gods and demons, with the plot driving the story.
Humans: Mortals without magical powers.
Demons: Things other than humans that cultivate into human form.
Monsters: Things other than humans that cultivate into a half-human form, combining traits of people and objects. They are mostly supporting villains.
Immortals: Humans or demons who cultivate further.
Gods: Generally, demons or humans who ascend, or immortals who continue cultivating.
Ghosts: The dead. Demons: Any being can fall into demonic ways.
(The author created most of the worldbuilding independently, with some references to classical texts and religious schools. Many elements are original interpretations.)
