A Ravenclaw protagonist who enrolls in 1986. The original story remains unchanged, and this doesn't follow the main plot.
The entire story has spoilers in the companion book, Rosier's Rose.
Harvey Rohl was born in 1975, when Voldemort was at the height of his power, and graduated in 1993, the last year of peace. He has an infamous Death Eater father, a mother whose loyalties are unclear, and will one day have an Auror for a godfather in all but name.
In 1986, like many young British wizards, eleven-year-old Harvey arrived at Hogwarts. Burdened with the infamy and expectations left behind by the previous generation, what kind of life will he have?
A broader perspective
Dark times can also be a stage on which to shine. The Marauders were there in the 1960s, and the Golden Trio in the 1980s. The wizards born in the 1970s were still children during the First Wizarding War and had already graduated by the time of the Second Wizarding War. They seem to have been lucky enough to remain outside the main battlefields, but that doesn't mean their lives were uneventful, or that they watched the war from the sidelines.
In 1970, the birth of William Weasley heralded the beginning of the next generation. In the History of Magic concerning the second Dark Lord, they are the overlooked generation in between.

Very good, but why is Rolle so miserable!!
Will the teacher update again? I'm really looking forward to it.
Looks good(??ω??)??
I'm a little curious. If I release a chapter I've locked myself after making changes, will there be an "update" prompt after review?
Flint and Wood met before they entered school!!! Oh my god
Will there be more updates? I feel like it's well written.
