Don't Pick Up Cute Pets Carelessly in the Apocalypse

Xu Jialuo, the owner of an utterly ordinary shop in the underground city.

His “ordinariness” shows in every way.

For example, he can casually brew top-grade potions that soothe mental energy.

Or calm down an irritable S-rank warrior with no more than a casual gesture.

One rainy night, after the shop had closed, a lump of “coal” fell from the sky and rolled right into his shop.

“Roro...” The lump of coal blinked its sparkling big eyes, its whole face pleading to be adopted.

Xu Jialuo pointed coldly at the door. “Get out.”

The lump of coal was good at everything, from doing laundry to cooking. After a whole lot of cuddling and cuteness, Xu Jialuo finally gave in. How could he resist when this little lump of coal was so capable?

The lump of coal flapped its little wings. “Roro... good at... working!”

Devoted, adorable pet as the pursuer & carefree owner as the pursued
