A Foolish Beauty's Everyday Life Raising Kids in the 1960s

Xu Yiyi was as beautiful as a fairy, and known throughout Qiushui Village as the silly girl.

One day, someone tricked her into going deep into the mountains, where she found a chubby, adorable three-year-old child.

Seeing that the child had no parents, she made a rash decision and brought the little one home.

The villagers gossiped when they saw this.

They said Xu Yiyi could barely feed herself, yet she was trying to raise a child like other people. She was a complete fool!

Others said that after marrying Gao Fang, the village ne'er-do-well, Xu Yiyi had been mistreated until she could no longer have children. That was why she'd brought a child home to raise.

Faced with the gossip and her husband's fierce objections, Xu Yiyi didn't care.

She thought that as long as she had food to eat, she wouldn't let the child go hungry.

She was going to be this child's mother, and that was final!

One day, the child told her that life would be hard in the coming years and they needed to stock up on supplies.

Xu Yiyi believed the child and began collecting grain and mountain delicacies. She even gathered the winged seeds from the elm tree in front of their house.

Not long afterward, the villagers discovered that the Gao family, who had once been so poor they lived in a thatched hut, had built a large house with four tiled rooms. They ate meat every day, and their lives were getting better and better...

Even Gao Fang, who had always been a good-for-nothing, turned over a new leaf and became a husband everyone praised.

No one knew that the little child Xu Yiyi had found was actually a little immortal. His treasure-gathering basin could store an enormous amount of supplies, enough to last even ten years.

P.S. 1. Raising a child, hoarding supplies, family life, marriage first and love later, and cozy everyday moments.

2. The heroine is an exceptionally innocent beauty with sound values, but she's no pushover.

3. The hero is ruthless and full of flaws, but he's good only to the heroine.
