Taking My Childhood Crush Back into the Entertainment Industry

When Yu Sheng was seven, Wen Yuan was seventeen.

She dragged over a little stool, pointed at the boy on TV smiling like a spring breeze, and said, "Mom, I want to marry him."

When she was twenty-three, he would forever be thirty-three.

Her boss pointed at her and scolded her: "Our artist is so busy, and you have time to go mourn some has-been?"

Yes, a has-been.

Before his death, he had long since lost his youthful drive. He worked himself to the bone rushing between film sets for a chance at a job, exhausting his health too soon.

Only after his death did people suddenly praise his acting and professional ethics, and reminisce about the years when he had dazzled them.

It wasn't fair.

After crying herself dry, she saw young Wen Yuan standing before her again.

All traces of the past had been erased. He was reborn, and she was the only person in the world who still remembered him.

You say acting is the only thing you can do? That you have no knack for variety shows, don't know how to compete for opportunities, have already been abandoned by the times and the audience, and are afraid of holding me back?

It's all right. I've never been particularly ambitious anyway.

I just want the first person I ever fell for to be treated kindly by the world.

I want to see the light in your eyes never fade.

Theme: May all hard work be rewarded, and all good people be treated kindly.
