A Doll's Obsession

The world of the game Ultimate Paradise is fantastical and mysterious. Not only do humans enjoy long lives, but many nonliving things have also been given life.

To keep resources in balance, the Empire's government restricts childbirth.

But in her second year after transmigrating into this world, Xia Ruoxing becomes a single mother. An awakened doll seduces her and then abandons her.

She bought the doll for next to nothing. Its body was badly damaged, but it had one of the finest faces among dolls.

It depended on her and kept her company, bringing her a little warmth as she struggled to survive at the bottom of this world.

But then the doll suddenly disappeared. Some said he had gone off with a rich family's young lady.

"You ungrateful bastard! You didn't abandon me. I'm the one who got rid of the father and kept the child." She curses as she hides from place to place.

Later, for her daughter's sake, she joins an organization opposed to birth restrictions, only to be captured by the Federation.

It is not until the day of the public trial that she discovers the new emperor presiding over the court, with absolute power over life and death, is the very doll she once fell for.

And the people of the entire Federation discover that the adorable little girl in the woman's arms looks exactly like the new emperor.
