(Identity V) We're Breaking Up! I Was Lying

You and your ex-boyfriend stood in the wind as it howled “whoosh.” Rain poured down like it did in a melodrama, hitting you with such oppressive weight that even straightening your back took effort.

Behind your back, your hands intertwined, each hand embodying one of your two conflicting attitudes as they struggled against each other.

Before long, you realized that the side pretending not to hear seemed to have the upper hand.

Of course you can’t leave him. After all, every factor preventing the breakup is under the control of the lover you’ve failed to break up with.

Theme: We’re one big, loving family.
