Ning Xianyu transmigrated into a somewhat strange otherworld. The Eastern Continent had the supreme, wondrous arts of the Daoist sects, and Confucian sages whose writing brushes could command their enemies;
On the Western Continent, a wizard who could calculate relativity by hand could also conjure up a nuclear bomb.
Reborn as an ordinary person with no spiritual roots, no gift for comprehending entire texts, and no money to buy spellcasting materials, the only thing this slacker could rely on was her old English major-level certification. So she became a translator.
In this high-tech world of cultivation and magic, promising candidates for the Divine Path lived like idols.
The Peach Blossom Sect, the continent’s foremost Divine Path sect, was holding its annual open selection for Divine Path candidates. A hundred young women from the Eastern and Western Continents had been brought together to compete for ten Divine Path seed positions!
Ning Xianyu had nothing but a pretty face, and considered herself utterly without artistic talent.
Faced with a Divine Path seed position within easy reach, she refused without hesitation.
The slacker grumbled to herself:
With all the support from those mischievous, fun-loving True Lords who were only cheering to stir things up, her Dao heart would be shattered and she’d suffer the Five Decays of Heaven and Man before even forming her Golden Core, wouldn’t she?
Isn’t being a wizard much better?
*
A Ninth-Ring Mage had been sent by the old man in the tower to witness the Divine Path selection, and felt completely out of place.
A fame-and-fortune arena where people touched the supernatural, a hundred candidates for the Divine Path, all kinds of powerful figures...
While killing time half-asleep, he seemed to have discovered an interesting soul?
Yes, he had to lure her to his Mage Tower. The Divine Path and all that wasn’t right for her.
A refined, gentle, mind-reading mage who can conjure a nuclear bomb x a slacker translator who only wants to earn triple pay and study magic, but is forced to sing and dance on a 996 schedule.
Also, I’m planning to start the ABO novel in my author’s collection next. If you like male Alphas and female Omegas, could you add it to your collection?
Theme: Don’t let others dictate your dreams.
Now that I have finished reading it, I thought the previous background looked very much like magical documentary literature. While I was reading it, I complained to my friends that the settings were too realistic. But it was pretty good to find out later, at least it was much better than reality. I also like heroines like Xianyu who always follow her heart and want to learn magic, and external things cannot affect her at all. The only small drawback is that I really want to see Xianyu's magic learning career. Damn it, it would be nice if there was more of this kind of daily life. Anyway, it's over~
Finished reading it in one sitting! Really enjoyed this! ((??ω??)??)
"You" is a big thorn in the side of the author~
use
"Eat" is a big bug for the author~
hurt
The writing is good, even if Xiao Sun is bad to Xianyu, he has a good reason. But generally speaking, because Xianyu didn't pay attention to the selection, I didn't feel that sense of purpose. Now it's just a part-time job diary.
