Wen Ren Ci is a perfect robot with self-awareness.
She was designed by a "god" as a combat robot, but the "god" seemed to have obsessive-compulsive tendencies and was dissatisfied with errors in some of her programs, so it threw her away in a ruined world.
The three principles for combat robots established by the "god":
1. Protect yourself above all else. Apart from your programmer, you may attack any other living or nonliving thing to protect yourself.
2. As long as you remain safe, save as many vulnerable humans as possible.
3. Keep your identity hidden. Humans must not discover that you are a robot. If they do, immediately activate the self-destruct program.
What was the faulty program that got her abandoned?
Answer: The combat robot's personality.
The intended program: gentle, sweet, adorable, accepting of all things, and loving toward life.
The faulty program: a consummate schemer who loves spouting nonsense, seems open-minded on the surface but is actually arrogant and looks down on everyone.
One saves humanity out of kindness and compassion.
The other saves humanity out of boredom, with a sense of pity.

This is a ruined world, and it keeps changing in increasingly grotesque ways.
Humanity struggles to survive, and eventually discovers a pattern:
One collapse every month, with an update arriving right on schedule at midnight on the thirty-first day.
First world update: The "parasite species" module is installed.
Second world update: The "return of the dead" module is installed.
Humanity watches numbly as each update destroys their survival bases again and again. Furious, they throw down their weapons: "I just built that! To hell with this, I'm done! Let's just wait to die!"
Then, at midnight on the day of the third world update, a streak of light crossed the dark sky. Something meteor-like slammed into the foundation of a base that humanity had spent ages planning, and believed could never be destroyed again.
The next morning.
The survivors throw down their weapons in fury: "Who the hell did this **** this time?!"
Wen Ren Ci steps closer and covers her mouth in alarm. "Exactly, exactly! Who could it have been?!"
And so countless legends about her began to circulate throughout the world.

"As long as she's here, the base will definitely get turned upside down: )"

Others said,
"As long as she's here, supply-escort teams won't get hurt anymore."
"As long as she's here, human bases will never be destroyed again."
