A long-overdue announcement: To the readers who kept following this story and interacting with me even after it was left unfinished
I'm so sorry that I ultimately broke my promise. I even replied to everyone in the comments, saying I would finish the story. But when the plot was nearing its end, pandemic restrictions where I live gradually lifted, and people were infected on a massive scale before recovering. I got sick, too. After that, I no longer had the strength to write updates. I tried a few times, but found I couldn't write anything. I was so anxious that I couldn't face the unfinished story of Xiao Wu and Xiao Jing. This was my first long novel, and yet I couldn't even give it a proper ending. The story had already started to stray from what I originally planned while I was writing it. I realized that my writing ability and plotting weren't enough to handle a novel hundreds of thousands of words long. I wanted to, but I couldn't. I ran away from it by uninstalling the app, and only today, two years later, did I remember that I had a novel I still hadn't addressed. Let's call it finished here! Almost two years have passed. The pandemic and recovery feel like a distant memory now, and perhaps no one remembers this novel anymore. But I'm truly grateful to everyone who kept following it and leaving comments. Thank you. If I continue writing, I really hope to see you all again.
If any of you who remember Min Gusheng happen to see this announcement, I still want to tell you: I'm almost fully recovered from my illness. I've stopped being so hard on myself, and I'm almost a different person. My mindset has changed completely. No hardship is impossible to overcome, and life gives us plenty of room to make mistakes. Everyone is stronger than they think.
Even when facing hardship, embrace life bravely.
Original blurb:
As a diligent, longtime office drone, Tan Ziwu thought her life would always be the same: working hard for the Supernatural Management Bureau for the rest of her life and getting by on her salary.
But after she bought that fish, her life became far more colorful. She had to track down all kinds of divine artifacts and suppress the souls of legendary ferocious beasts, which may or may not still be alive. She was busier than ever.
So when that fish later pinned her against the door, carefully and ingratiatingly kissing the corner of her mouth, Tan Ziwu felt so dizzy she could barely think.
"W-What are you doing?"
Quan Jing reached out with a reproachful look and pinched Tan Ziwu's earlobe, her hot breath brushing Tan Ziwu's face.
"Miss Tan, can't you see how I feel about you at all?"
Tan Ziwu: Miss Quan, I'm just an ordinary employee in charge of administrative affairs. If I slack off at work, they'll dock my pay.
Quan Jing, in pitiful mode: Can't we kiss during work hours?
Tan Ziwu, dazed by her beauty: W-We can... We can kiss.

I write articles for free. It would be great if I could update them. Looking forward to the next plot.
No wonder Xiaowu didn't like animals before
I really laugh at this "Why are you going to bed before you play?" What kind of idiot Xiao Wu is this?
Fish are actually very difficult to raise. It's not easy to keep it well with just this water.
Author: Is this finished? It's been almost a year and it's still not finished.
It doesn't matter, just have fun writing articles
It is indeed one of the four ferocious beasts
Oh, Huo Xiaofu is a bad person (thinking)
I really like the world background in the novel
Looking forward to your update~
