How Can a Medium Believe in Science?

Maybe a ship-picking story (?)

Synopsis:

I'm Cha Lu, a medium with a natural aura of villainy.

Since I keep showing up at crime scenes, the police have taken a special interest in me.

Tonight, I accepted a job to deal with a "ghost bro" in an apartment building.

One ghost bro in the building, a real jerk, told me he would take me to see something good. After seeing it, I could, um...!

Well, great! I'd been busy all night and was getting bored. Might as well have a look.

Anyone who can get frisky in a building haunted by a ghost bro must be a real badass. I have to get in on this!

I followed the ghost bro to the destination. The moment I opened the door, a warm liquid splashed across my face (?)

The light left my eyes. I took out my phone and dialed the Metropolitan Police Department's number with practiced ease.

After luring the dealer to the target location, he had just fired when the door was pushed open by a woman in a black coat. He hurriedly found somewhere to hide.

The woman's face was grim as she pulled out her phone. Her eyes were vacant as she watched the life drain from the person before her, as if watching a boring show.

She wiped the blood splashed across her face, then casually nudged the corpse with her foot. In an almost cruel voice, she spoke into her phone:

"Mmm... sir, he's dead now~"

Damn it, which criminal organization's executive is this?

One day, I'm going to arrest every last one of them and send them to prison.

Suddenly, the woman turned toward him with a malicious smile and softly said, "I'll deal with you later~"

Crap! She spotted me!

Amuro Tooru managed to retreat after the police arrived.

Later, he made a point of watching that woman give her statement.

"Huh? How did I find him? A ghost led me there."

"That's about what I expected you to say. But, miss, we still have to believe in science, "

After Amuro Tooru had spent some time with Cha Lu, he found that this kid (?) was pretty cute and inexplicably developed a fatherly streak.

Then he discovered that every one of his fellow students wanted to steal his cabbage. What? Gin is planning to steal his cabbage?!
