The Fallen Princess Is Pregnant

Synopsis: One day, after a palace coup, the former dynasty's princess, Si Yingzhen, had spent two months in prison. On the eve of her execution, it was suddenly discovered that she was two months pregnant. The newly established Li dynasty retained the old dynasty's laws: "It is expressly decreed that women who have not committed a crime, as well as pregnant women, shall not be punished..." Si Yingzhen was born to a palace maid of the former dynasty and had spent eighteen years living unrecognized in the Cold Palace. When the new dynasty was founded, the emperor granted a general amnesty, and under the old laws, Si Yingzhen was graciously released from prison. There was a bun shop on Chang'an's streets, selling delicious buns at affordable prices. The shopkeeper was a young woman named Shen Yunshao, who had just turned twenty. Shen Yunshao was pretty and honest, and worked hard. Matchmakers and neighbors from every street and alley kindly offered to find her a match. Just as it seemed the matchmakers were about to wear down her doorstep, Shen Yunshao smiled and waved them off. "No need. I already have a wife." Then one day, everyone discovered that a beautiful young woman had moved into the bun shop. Not long after, a little bundle of joy with a rosy face and jade-like features showed up, tugging at Shen Yunshao and calling her "Mama" in a sweet little voice. * Farming story, everyday family life * Childbirth, ensemble cast, lighthearted Theme: Keep your feet on the ground and build prosperity through hard work.
