A red-haired boy, with a hint of yellow showing at his roots, crouched by the roadside and said dejectedly. Every passerby gave him a suspicious look, as if wondering why a kid wasn't at school on a weekday.

The white-haired young man stood on the edge of a rooftop with his eyes closed and arms spread. The cold wind rushed wildly into his white T-shirt, now stained with blood. He seemed to be embracing the sun, or perhaps he was a white bird scorched by the sun, about to fall.

"But I want to drag that guy out of there."
In a bar frequented by people from both sides of the law, the bartender stood behind the counter, frowning as he watched his childhood friend mix drinks beside him. His earring glinted in the light, and the emotions in his eyes were hard to read.

"Hesitate and you lose! I'm off to save the world!"
The chuunibyou second-year from Rikkai Middle School's Occult Club leaped down from a wall several meters high. Ignoring his seniors' attempts to stop him, he resolutely set out on a one-way road into an unknown future.
