The Sword Immortal Refuses to Be a Tool [Book Transmigration]

XXXX: Senior Brother, You're So Bad is a melodramatic cultivation novel that has taken advertising pages by storm. It brings together just about every cliché in the book: stand-ins, amnesia, car accidents, terminal illness, and more.

(Don't ask why there's a car accident in a cultivation novel. The answer is that someone crashed into a sword while flying on one.)

When Lu Qing realized that he shared a name with one of the sword immortals in the novel, he followed the basic principle of "A X-Jiang person has a X-Jiang soul, and if a X-Jiang person sees a character with their name in a novel, they have to read the whole thing." With remarkable foresight, he finished the entire book, and then he really did "win the prize."

To sum up the sword immortal's role in the novel, he was basically a brick in a melodramatic story, brought in wherever he was needed. Whenever the male or female lead ran into trouble, the helpful guy showed up.

So the novel was full of scenes like these:

The male lead is in trouble. Lu Qing happens to pass by, sees him, and helps.

The female lead is in trouble. Lu Qing happens to pass by, sees her, and helps.

The male and female leads are in trouble together. Lu Qing happens to pass by, sees them, and helps...

In short, there was no trouble the leads could get into that Lu Qing couldn't help them out of.

On finding himself cast as such a walking plot device, Lu Qing: ...

Meanwhile, the major villain, whose job was to "cause trouble" for the leads, noticed that Lu Qing had been absent for a long time and turned an even more hostile gaze on the male and female leads.
