Has the Big Black Panther Tried Hard to Play Volleyball Today?

Kurokawa Iori first met Tendou Satori in elementary school's volleyball club. Back then, he just thought he was a strange red-haired kappa.

Later, Iori realized that Tendou had a real talent for volleyball, especially blocking. He would probably become a pretty good middle blocker.

Whenever Tendou Satori jumped at the net, trying to spike one of his balls, Iori would stare at those fingers, slimmer and longer than most people's. More than once, the sight made him want to hit the ball as hard as he could, with the nasty thought of breaking Tendou Satori's fingers.

In middle school, Iori was captain of Kurotoyo Middle School's volleyball club and led the team to the nationals in almost overwhelming fashion. A versatile ace who was a tyrant to outsiders and a benevolent ruler to his own team (though the members still thought of him as a tyrant), Iori earned such chuuni nicknames as "Master of the Court," "Sleeping Black Panther," and "Demon Ace." He didn't care, except that certain annoying people called him Little Black Panther.

Later, after returning to Miyagi, Iori met Tendou Satori again. Standing on the court and looking at the still-eccentric Tendou on the other side, Iori felt more excited than ever. Once again, he wanted to break those fingers in front of him.

After the match, he heard Tendou's teammates talking maliciously about him:

"Hey, don't you think Tendou's kind of scary? You never know what he's thinking."

"Exactly."

Iori suddenly cut into the conversation. "I think he's cute."

He looked at them as if they were garbage. "And the weak have no right to talk about the strong here. On the court, skill is everything, you little shits."

Hidden behind the door, Tendou Satori suddenly felt his heart pound.

If someone asked, "What is Kurokawa Iori to Tendou Satori?" he would probably answer, "He's the only friend a monster has in the human world."

But later, their feelings changed. The sentimental monster wanted to find a bond in the human world.

Later, after graduating middle school, Iori was discussing high school with his childhood friend Ushijima Wakatoshi, who earnestly recommended, "Come with me to a stronger environment. Shiratorizawa is perfect for us. You need fertile soil to grow better!"

Iori was already planning to attend high school in Miyagi, but Ushijima convinced him to go to Shiratorizawa. There, he met Tendou Satori again in the volleyball club.

Everyone at Shiratorizawa knew Kurokawa Iori and Tendou Satori were inseparable, but only the volleyball club knew what their relationship really was.

Ushijima Wakatoshi, suddenly realizing that the two people he got along so well with were dating: "???"

★. There will absolutely be OOC characterization!!! Don't flame me!

★. The protagonist may have questionable morals, and he's overpowered.

★. The timeline is a mess.

★. Updates are irregular.

★. It may take a while for him to get to Shiratorizawa. The middle school matches will be written in more detail, and there will be original characters.

★. I want Shiratorizawa to win the championship! The kind of team that wins two years in a row! Then loses to Karasuno in their third year. (Aoba Johsai may suffer.)

★. The author knows the writing is bad and the logic has major flaws, but I won't accept writing advice. If you point out mistakes, please be polite, or the author may have a breakdown and pick a fight with you [smile].

★. Though the blurb sounds romance-focused, I want the story to lean more toward plot... After all, you can have both love and a career.

Iori is 191.2 cm tall, taller than Tendou's 187.7 cm. He's a beautiful, long-haired man with black hair, black eyes, and a beauty mark under his eye. His eyes are like a cat's, and his personality is like a black panther's: sometimes lazy and laid-back, sometimes completely unhinged.

This is my first time writing a character with this sort of personality, so I might not be able to handle him very well. (So don't expect too much from me!!!)

But crazy beauties are just so great.

Neither Iori nor Tendou will go pro. After graduation, it'll probably be a slice-of-life romance between a chocolate pastry chef Tendou and a laid-back black-panther chairman.

As for who's top and who's bottom, I hadn't decided at first. But it seems like these two don't have to stick to one role, so switch couples are the best!!!
