A Sickly Love That Binds Us

·

The younger sister straddled her older brother's lap and, smiling sweetly with a hint of menace, interrogated him. "When I got lost all those years ago, you were partly to blame. You failed to look after me and let me wander outside for so long. You owe me compensation."

The younger sister hooked a finger into her older brother's collar, her red lips almost touching his.

Her older brother clamped a hand around hers and tried to push her off him. His expression was conflicted and anguished, with fury and shock he could hardly put into words. "You've lost your mind!"

Instead, the younger sister smiled even more sweetly. "Wrong. I'm perfectly clearheaded. I want to kiss you. You should compensate me with yourself."

[This story was originally listed as fantasy xianxia, but I really had no inspiration and it's not my forte, so I've changed it to historical romance. Sorry! If that bothers you, feel free to remove it from your collection.]

Theme: Siblings should stand together as one and not let misunderstandings create conflict and division
