Then one day, an incredibly handsome transfer student named Zhou Yang joins his class.

Zhou Yang looks utterly pained. He manages a smile and lets go. "It's okay. I can wait."

One day not long afterward, Zhou Yang punches Zhou Pei in the face, and Zhou Pei immediately hits back. Shi Xin'an runs over, and Zhou Pei calls for his help. To his surprise, Shi Xin'an, who usually never even raises his voice, slaps him and then hides behind Zhou Yang.

Zhou Pei shouts, "Shi Xin'an, how could you betray me?"

Zhou Yang kicks him. "If you hadn't interfered, we wouldn't have ended up like this!"

Zhou Pei glares at them and roars, "I won't let you get away with this!"

Shi Xin'an doesn't dare say a word. His fingers tremble as he clutches the hem of Zhou Yang's clothes.

Zhou Yang pats his hand to comfort him, then looks at Zhou Pei and declares firmly:

"I loved him first! If you've got a problem, take it up with me!"
