The Secret Crush of Harbor City's Best Actress

Campus rumor: The campus belle has a crush on the visiting professor from Hong Kong! I secretly heard her call actress Xu her aunt!

When Chen Mo was twelve, her father "tricked" her into going to Hong Kong. When she arrived, she found a cool, beautiful woman there to pick her up. Only later did she learn that this big sister, who spoke Mandarin with an awkward accent, was her new aunt.

During the half month she spent with her aunt, Chen Mo took four years to come to terms with what she felt. One fleeting glimpse on TVB made her determined to pursue acting, and when she saw her aunt move to the mainland at eighteen, she realized she was in love with her. Sadly, her father got a new girlfriend around that time, and she was no longer her aunt.

Xu Shiyan was a finance whiz at the University of Toronto. Right after graduation, a talent scout discovered her, and she won award after award in Hong Kong. She entered the mainland entertainment industry at twenty-six and won Best Actress at twenty-eight.

Her wealthy family, elite education, and thriving acting career earned her admirers from Hong Kong to Jiangcheng. But she was as serene as a chrysanthemum, and despite her gentle, flowing warmth, she always seemed impossible to approach.

On her first day as a visiting lecturer at Jiangcheng Film Academy, she spotted Chen Mo curled up in a corner. The ugly duckling had grown into a swan. She called Chen Mo down to act out a scene with her, but the girl fainted on the spot and was dragged away by her friends.

Xu Shiyan: Am I really that scary?

After that, Xu Shiyan taught three times a week, and Chen Mo always sat in the very last corner. Whenever they ran into each other outside class, Chen Mo always ran away. For the first time, Xu Shiyan wondered if she smelled bad.

Xu Shiyan caught Chen Mo in the restroom, where she had nowhere left to run. "Why are you running? Don't you remember chasing after me and calling me Auntie?"

Chen Mo burst into tears.

Xu Shiyan: ?

Campus forum: Actress Xu from Hong Kong cornered the campus belle in the restroom and bullied her until she cried.

The first role Chen Mo landed as a professional actress came through a letter of recommendation written by Xu Shiyan. It said simply: "This girl is mine."

Chen Mo especially loved calling Xu Shiyan Auntie in bed, and loved how the usually cool Xu Shiyan blushed and buried her face in Chen Mo's neck.

"Auntie, relax."
