Synopsis

“We’re Hufflepuffs.”

“I’m the most Hufflepuff Hufflepuff there is.”

Ilena never imagined she would wake up in a Niffler’s nest, just as she never imagined she would meet Newt.

Newt, the senior student she revered as a god, took Pickett out of his pocket in the warm sunshine. Oh, it was a ring held by Pickett.

“Will you become Mrs. Scamander?”

Reading Guide

1. Harry Potter fanfiction. The characters belong to Rowling, the original characters belong to me.

2. Happy ending, read with confidence.

3. My research isn’t very thorough, so please point out any mistakes.

→ This early work was written purely for love of the story. A lot of it didn’t follow the outline (actually, it went off course as I wrote), so just enjoy it and don’t scrutinize the details. Opinions on characterization vary. If I reread it and find it too childish, I might lock it. I get embarrassed by my own writing every day...

(There’s so little about Newt! There seem to be so few Hufflepuff heroines, too. So! I’ll do it myself and make do!)

Theme: Mrs. Scamander, from now on you’ll be in charge of feeding the Mooncalves.

American and British Derivative Fanfiction, Ongoing

Includes DC, Marvel, The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Twilight, classic Western literature, and more. I prefer BG and no-CP stories. The lack of five-star ratings is because JJ won’t let me give them. Most of these are free.

Various Spin-Offs

Updated continuously. Five stars means you can dive in without hesitation, four stars means good quality, and three stars means it was dropped or is worth trying if you’re desperate for something to read. There are more surprises further down in the comments.

Harry Potter Fanfiction

I've been really into HP lately. Anything related to it is great.

Harry Potter, But I'm Picky [Including Ongoing and Irregularly Updated Fics]

Any orientation is fine. No harem stories, love triangles, Voldemort pairings, incest, otome, bad endings, airheaded beauties, or sandwich pairings. I’ll mark whether a story is complete or ongoing.

Harry Potter Marauders-Era Pairings I Want to Collect

Keeping these for myself: James, Remus, Sirius, Barty Crouch Jr., Regulus, Lucius and his dad, old Voldy, Newt, Theseus, and Dumbledore. No professors.
