Qin Xianlou is a monster. Her soul cannot be destroyed, and her body cannot die. Immortality has condemned her to wander aimlessly for millions of years...
She drifted through the world for so long that her earliest memories grew ever fainter. She had long forgotten where she was born and what she was. All she knew was her name and that she lacked a heartstring of love.
So, ahem, because she was so bored, Qin Xianlou bound herself to a gacha System that claimed it could help her grow a heartstring of love. She traveled with it through various little worlds made up of fictional stories, collecting the "misery points" of the children of fortune.
But as they competed and fought over her, she discovered that the female leads were obsessed with her.
Love is poison, yet the female leads drink it willingly. They are already incurably ill!
Little Worlds (before Qin Xianlou)
1. A compassionate collector with a peculiar taste x a miserable artificial mermaid (a little dark!!)
A mysterious organization abducted an innocent girl and cruelly pierced her legs with mermaid tail bones. The girl was transformed into a mermaid.
A gentle collector bought her. The girl thought she had found salvation, only to later realize that this was the beginning of her life as a plaything.
2. A self-admiring stylist x an isolated, obscure idol
The owner of New Look is a stylist. They say that whoever gets her to do their hair and makeup can be transformed into someone breathtakingly beautiful.
An idol who had been shelved for ages decided to risk everything to win over the haughty stylist and make her work for her... Unfortunately, she ended up becoming the one working for her.
3. A lust-crazed gaming companion x an innocent, naive sweetheart
The sweetheart was born in the mud, with nowhere to vent her pent-up feelings, so she turned her attention to gaming... She was terrible at games, so she hired a gaming companion. But why was there a window displaying the companion's inner thoughts on their video call?
The sweetheart read the thoughts and was completely baffled. Tilting her head, she asked the woman on the screen, "Big Sister, what's a 'wave' and a 'squat'?"
4. The witch's second-in-command, a demon cat x the deputy captain of the royal knights' vanguard (with a Japanese-inspired setting)
The deputy captain of the heroes endured humiliation and infiltrated the demon realm to destroy the wanton witch once and for all. But she discovered that the witch's second-in-command was the person she'd been infatuated with as a child!
She was a hero, and she shamefully defected to the enemy.
5. A short-tempered, washed-up painter x a cool, celebrated actress
The painter could no longer pick up a brush. The burning resentment consumed not only her, but everyone around her who loved her. She wished for time to flow backward so she could make up for the mistakes she had made, and she succeeded. Time began to reverse.
(These are tentative. The order may change, and some may be added or removed.)

Warning: The author likes dark stuff and only thinks about how to make things twisted. There is no logic at all. This story is entirely fictional, with no real-life references or inspirations. Please don't draw parallels to reality.
(I originally had two forthcoming novels, "If Water Flowed Backward" and "Worse Than Beasts," in my collection. I've put them in as two of the little worlds instead, and don't plan to write them separately.)
