Shen Qianhe x Zhou Bihan
In the late 1980s, Shen Qianhe and Zhou Bihan crossed paths in a narrow alley.
On the day they first met, Shen Qianhe was carrying her older sister out to be married, while Zhou Bihan was hauling a truckload of luggage into the alley. The lane was so narrow that only one party could pass at a time. Neither of them was the yielding sort, so they set aside the happy occasion and immediately had a spectacular fight.
Everyone said Shen Qianhe was a hooligan and a no-good scoundrel, while Zhou Bihan was destined to soar to the top.
But no one knew that aboard the green-skinned trains traveling to and from the south, the hooligan and the phoenix had kissed.
[Reading Guide]
1. The shou is vain, a face-con, and loves to throw tantrums. She doesn't learn the good stuff, but she can pick up the bad stuff too.
2. The gong is mixed-race, with a high nose bridge, deep-set eyes, and a handsome face. Definitely not bald.
3. This is the classic enemies-to-lovers setup. Don't read if that's not your thing.
4. I'm attempting an ensemble cast, though I may not pull it off. The story has all kinds of flavors and tells the ordinary lives of ordinary people.
Message: Love is both a standoff and silent protection.
