She never expected him to corner her in the waiting room at the year-end music awards and berate her. As she listened to his cruel words, Yingning was about to give him a taste of his own medicine when she caught sight through the door of him arriving with his new album to pay his respects to the senior... Yingning slowly lowered her eyes, thoughts flashing through her mind. When she looked up again, her eyes were misty with tears.

Lee Min Ho saw the girl inside the room, her eyes red as she fought to keep her tears from falling. Suddenly, he remembered the young deer he'd seen as a boy when he went to Seoul Forest with his parents. Deep in the forest, mist rising around them, he'd reached out and gently touched the deer's eyes. They were wet, but he couldn't tell whether it was mist or tears...

Content warnings:

1. The author loves every member of (G)I-DLE, but because of conflicts with the character setup, Shuhua has to be written out.

2. The early part of the story focuses mainly on the heroine's career, with romance woven in. Her relationship becomes a focus in the middle.

3. The heroine is somewhat scheming and flirts with other people early on. She also has powerful backing. Please don't read if you can't accept this.
