Nozawa Tsuru was the most beautiful mermaid in Atlantis, and the mermaid who longed most to see the human world.
One day, as Nozawa Tsuru approached a ship, a complete set of manga thrown from onboard hit him on the head, knocking him unconscious.
When he woke again, Nozawa Tsuru had become an amphibious mermaid.
The manga's story was etched deeply into Nozawa Tsuru's mind, complete with commentary he couldn't turn off. The only way to shut it off was to finish the entire manga plot, so the mermaid shed his tail, gained human legs, and went ashore.

Mazda had been inside the Ferris wheel a moment earlier, delivering his final message and quietly waiting for the bomb to explode. The next moment, he was thrown right out of the gondola. He wasn't killed by the bomb, but nearly died from the fall. At least he survived.
