In the seventeenth year after Xu Junyi transmigrated to another world, the legendary System finally came online with a ding. As soon as it finished loading, it urged him to hurry up and get started on his missions.
The System spoke with fervor: [Congratulations, Host, on binding with the Cannon Fodder Comeback System! With this System to guide you, you'll be able to punch Long Aotian and kick Mary Sue, then rise to the top of life!]
Xu Junyi was unmoved. "Oh."
The System continued enthusiastically: [The world you live in is just a comic, and you're a cannon-fodder passerby! But don't worry. Just follow my instructions and complete your missions diligently, and you'll rise to the top and become the most popular character!]
Xu Junyi could barely muster any interest. "Oh."
The System sensed something was off in those curt replies. It hurriedly brought out its ultimate threat: [...Host, please take your missions seriously. If you can't earn enough popularity points, the world's will is going to kill you off according to the plot!]
But Xu Junyi's eyes lit up when he heard that.
"What? Killed off by the plot? That's a thing? What a nice surprise!"
System: [???]

Abyss Above is a recently released comic set in the Calamity Era. Its incredibly detailed, exquisite art and thrilling plot have made it hugely popular across the Star Network.
Among the comic's many characters, the most popular is neither the protagonist nor the villain, but a mysterious figure who has appeared only a handful of times.
He has the black hair and eyes characteristic of people from the Old Era, striking and aloof features, unfathomable strength, and a body full of mysteries.
Whenever he appears, readers can't help but be drawn to him.
Pursued, admired, adored, worshipped as a god.
Amid the countless stars, he is the moon that hangs highest in the sky.

Aloof, world-weary, alluring without realizing it, strong yet tragic, and adored by everyone: the top.
The top belongs to the chaotic neutral alignment and feels no attachment to this world.
Everyone has a one-sided crush on the top. The bottom pursues and dotes on him.
The top has a mental illness, and the bottoms are a pack of mad dogs.
A cyberpunk and wasteland setting with a touch of cosmic horror.
Includes forum posts and a stream of characters misinterpreting events. The two worlds merge later on.
The writing is melodramatic and cringey. Updates whenever inspiration strikes. Not contracted.
Theme: New life in the wasteland.
