[Under the Skin] Reborn to Protect Her: A Happy Ending

Ren Xiaoxuan had heard a legend since childhood: the souls of those who died by suicide could never find release, but would circle forever around the place where they died.

She never imagined it was true.

A wandering, helpless soul, she was bound to Qu Lanxin's side for a day, two days, a year, two years... ten years.

She was wrong.

She thought she had destroyed Qu Lanxin's light, but she was the one who had truly been cruel.

That night, she killed them both with a single stab.

When she opened her eyes again, she was beneath the same banyan tree.

Ren Xiaoxuan watched that lonely figure. This time, she would be the one to protect her.

Reborn Ren Xiaoxuan x the cool and beautiful Qu Lanxin.

Both are reborn later on. Happy ending, mutual devotion and redemption.

Theme: She is her light, and she is her light too.
