[Harry Potter Canon] Periwinkle Beneath the Veil

Lily had never imagined what life would be like after death,

but death came without warning.

Only then did she learn

that the most painful thing in the world is not dying,

but being powerless after death.

The one comfort she has is the way the dead support one another.

(Follows the original. Sirius has one minor bit of author-created characterization; everything else follows the original.

I want to give all the Harry Potter characters I love a perfect ending.)
