About Me Coming from the Dark Continent

[Coming soon: About Having Ants as My Only Romance Targets in Hunter x Hunter]

[This story was written before manga chapters 395–397, so the Meteor City material follows the Jinjiang version. Please don't read if that bothers you, QAQ.]

One day, Lily was reincarnated.

This world was full of calamities. All sorts of monsters ran rampant, and unknown diseases spread everywhere.

Lily managed to scrape by using her System's [Save] and [Load] functions, and by continually devouring monsters to steal their abilities. It wasn't until she met a professional Hunter named Don Freecss that she discovered she had transmigrated into the world of Hunter x Hunter, and landed on the Dark Continent three hundred years in the past.

Lily: ...

Other people got Whale Island or the Zoldycks, or at worst, Meteor City. Why had she been dumped in a hellhole like this?

Fed up with a life of constant fighting and survival of the fittest, Lily made a grand decision: she would go experience life in the human world!

*

The first thing Lily did upon arriving in the human world was eat.

Unlike the revolting monster corpses on the Dark Continent, the human world was full of delicious food.

So the girl known as the [Calamity of Disease] even took a job at a restaurant, learning how to cook all kinds of dishes.

Then one day, she met a baby-faced young man with blond hair and green eyes, and the System bound inside her suddenly activated.

[Welcome to the Hunter Romance Game! Are you ready to win the hearts of your dream guys?]

Blurb:

Hunter: Chimera Ant Romance is a full-immersion otome game, also known as the hardest otome game to complete.

Its world is dangerous, and some of the romance targets are even man-eating ants. Players can encounter all kinds of bizarre and varied death endings.

Arisu Ayako is on her Nth playthrough.

First playthrough: pursued the Ant King, had her head torn off and eaten.

Second playthrough: pursued the cat guy, and he used her as a doll with his Nen ability.

Third playthrough: pursued the butterfly guy, and got killed before she could even say a word.

Fourth playthrough: pursued the cute bunny, and got captured and turned into meatballs.

Nth playthrough: BAD END × N

Arisu Ayako: ...

Is this really an otome game and not some kind of battle royale?!

*

Ordinary humans, Nen users, low-ranking ants, the King's Royal Guards... Arisu Ayako tried all sorts of character cards to clear the game, but failed every time.

In a fit of anger, she started spending real money.

She acquired an incredibly powerful body with maxed-out charm against Chimera Ants, and from then on began living the life of a world-destroying party girl. After all, games are meant to be fun!

*

1. Affection carries over between playthroughs (but high affection doesn't guarantee a happy ending, so the female lead keeps getting bad endings).

2. The Ant King and Komugi are not a couple.

3. The female lead has maxed-out charm for ants.
