Chi Yu spends his lifespan on card draws. His ten-pull gets him two golds: two identity cards, plus a forum split-personality service.
Just as he thinks he's in the clear, his luck turns around, and Chi Yu draws two UR-rank missions: one is long and tedious, the other extremely difficult.
Chi Yu: "..."
And if he doesn't complete the missions, he can't take his big brother home.

As a second-run player, he's not afraid. As long as he works hard, he can take his brother and leave.
But things don't go smoothly. Less than a week after moving in, he runs into Conan twice, and then runs into him yet again while out shopping for household supplies.
Chi Yu (covering his face): "I'm guilty. Let the law punish me, not Conan. I don't want to run into Conan, get dragged into a case, end up in the main plot, and become a candidate."
Conan (thoughtful): "This guy is so strange. Do colleges really offer self-defense electives that teach you all this?"
After dealing with a serial killer, Chi Yu thinks he just needs to avoid Conan to stay out of trouble. But half a month after moving in, he discovers that his neighbor is a friendly, handsome man with blond hair and dark skin. His workaholic PTSD kicks in.
Chi Yu (horrified): "Don't come any closer!!!"
Amuro Tooru (pondering): "He does nothing all day, but spends money like water, and he's agile. Is his money possibly from bounty hunting?"

There's a student in the Tokyo Jujutsu High class of 2017 who hasn't shown up for a year, though he gets along well with all the students and often receives international packages and mail. Then, just before the class of 2018 starts, he appears at Tokyo Jujutsu High.
That student just wants to finish his missions, tear up his card, and log out.
Mugu Weilan (irritated): "Whoever wants to play this damn mom-friend role can do it!"
Gojo Satoru, who has never even met him, sizes him up with the Six Eyes. The structure of his body and the flow of his cursed energy are astonishing.
Gojo Satoru (curious): "He's actually alive in this state? Some monster specially raised in seclusion?"
Mugu Weilan approaches him with such good manners that he reminds Gojo of Yuta at first. Then a box of snow mochi appears in Gojo's hands, and Mugu Weilan tells him to take care of his teeth, worried he'll get cavities.

Itadori likes his second-year upperclassmen, but he likes Mugu Weilan best. When he sees him, it's like seeing family. Apart from him, there's actually someone at East High who's "normal" in the usual sense of the word, a cool-faced but warm-hearted, gentle, considerate mom-friend--
Itadori Yuji: "I want a mom-friend!"

Chi Yu opens the forum and, as expected, finds the pervert filter from his last run still in place. There's even a post saying [Chi Yu is a pervert, xxx run!] and a meme reading [High-rise, window, Chi Yu is a pervert, run.jpg].

Chi Yu opens the forum again. To his surprise, he and his big brother seem to be polar opposites. Chi Yan is the real deal, but has a soft-focus filter around him. Even the winery candidates are framed as victims, with people arguing that it's all a misunderstanding.
