Shu Yun is a beautiful young woman in the prime of her life, only eighteen years old. After facing the most important exam of her life, she feels bored. By chance, she transmigrates into a derivative novel.
She becomes a female supporting character, and not even one with a name.
Ding! Please check your mission, Host. Shu Yun: I was just bored. You actually assigned me a mission?
As it turns out, the mission is quite ordinary: the Plan to Save the Sweet Romance Novel's Male Supporting Character.
Shu Yun's task is to save Yu Mu, the aloof beauty.
He's the male supporting character in both the derivative novel and the original. He starts out as a cool, distant heartthrob, but the heroine brings him down from his pedestal. Their breakup is ugly, and he ends up taking his own life.
Good grief, this guy must have something wrong with him. Shu Yun accepts the mission, of course. She does feel sympathy for the old, the young, the sick, and the disabled.
