Sky: Children of the Light X Bungo Stray Dogs: Akutagawa's Dream

It was a dreamlike, beautiful world, like a bubble.

Akutagawa looked up, holding a small, soft little one in his arms.

In the boundless desert, the little one took his hand and led him into the first step of their journey. The scorching sunlight fell on them, as if opening a window even in his gloomy heart.

In the green meadows of the Cloud Realm, butterflies carried them through the air. Between the clouds, he felt the wind rushing past. He was accidentally carried off by Yaokun and sent straight to the journey's end, but the little one led him back the way they had come, and they flew along a different path into another beautiful place.

It was always raining in the rainforest, but the little one always forgot to bring an umbrella. When they got soaked, they would lose energy and cry from the pain, yet their grip on his hand remained firm.

From the highest peak of the snowy mountains, they watched the sunset that never went down, then danced gracefully across the frozen lake.

They bravely faced the black beasts. Though the little one was frightened enough to cry, they always did their best to smile in front of Akutagawa.

In the Vault of Knowledge, countless cultures could be seen dancing through the air, recording every memory of the past.

Finally, in a place called Eden, the little one showed Akutagawa the most beautiful miracle of all: life. Their figure, like a moth flying into a flame, left the deepest impression on him.

Akutagawa: "I never knew there was such an interesting place in the world. Everything along the journey, even the meetings and partings, has become so wonderfully endearing."
