During a lunchtime game of truth or dare, Ye Zhuo is challenged to confess to the prettiest girl in school.
Ye Zhuo is a good sport. He walks up to the rostrum and shouts at the top of his lungs:
"Pu Guan! I really like you! Did you hear me?"
But instead of the teasing he'd imagined, the air around him goes still.
Someone quietly reminds him, "Um... the school beauty's actually called Pu Shu."
Ye Zhuo: "?"
The person gives an awkward smile, then helpfully adds,
"Pu Guan is her brother."
Ye Zhuo: "..."
Ye Zhuo: "?????"

It's fine. Don't panic.
No big deal.
Ye Zhuo reassures himself. So what if he'd just made a spectacular fool of himself? He just needed to get off the stage with some dignity.
Then, the very next moment,
Pu Guan's voice rings out over the school PA: "I heard you."
Ye Zhuo takes a deep breath, thinking, Good. He's coming to settle the score.
There's no way I'm backing down. Only an idiot backs down. If I have to, I'll beat some sense into him and...
"Then let's get together."
There is a thud on the rostrum.
Ye Zhuo makes his dignified exit by tumbling down the stairs.
*"Wait, How Did I Suddenly Get a Boyfriend?" "Why Is He Always Clinging to Me?" "What, Am I Your Only Boyfriend?"
*Poised, gracious, and refined (fails) x shameless, foul-mouthed, and thick-skinned (succeeds)
