Eight hundred years ago, the immortal and demon realms fought a cataclysmic war. As the foremost Martial God, Chi Anyu charged fearlessly into the front lines. At the final moment, she used her life as the lock and her blood as the formation, exhausting all her cultivation to seal the eighteen domains of the demon realm and suppress them beneath the arctic glaciers.
When she returned to the Heavenly Court, covered in wounds, all she received was an order of reassignment: to the South Sea. Dragging her ailing body along, she set off alone for the desolate lands of the South Sea.
From then on, she lived in seclusion in the South Sea, never venturing out again. She spent her days raising fish and amusing herself, content to accept the Heavenly Court's house arrest. But after an unexpected discovery, she began to doubt where she came from. What was the truth behind the Heavenly Court's decay? What mysterious past lay hidden beneath the tranquil South Sea? As she searches for answers, the secrets beneath the arctic glaciers are gradually revealed...
