------Synopsis------
Jiang Jiang, a paper-doll character who once took the whole country by storm, transmigrates into an ordinary guest on a dating reality show twenty years later.
The kids who used to chase after her, calling her their wife, have all grown into middle-aged parents.
But when these middle-aged adults see someone bullying and insulting the girl who was once their moonlight, they can no longer hold back their keyboards, despite being materialists.
They prove with their actions that the power of middle-aged fans should not be underestimated!
Jiang Jiang is the only ordinary person on the dating show. Since she'd always been a game character, she knows nothing about the twists and turns of show business.
So she gets cursed out by other fans.
[Does this Jiang Jiang not know that she should let her seniors eat first?]
[Ahhh, how dare she turn down Han Mian's invitation!]
[I'm speechless. Leilei has been so nice to her. What's the big deal if she gives her spot to Leilei? She's talented enough to win another one anyway.]
[Girls, let's dig up her personal info! Teach her a lesson!]
But before they can start cyberbullying Jiang Jiang, their parents show them the fury of middle-aged fans!
"You dared to cyberbully Jiang Jiang? Are you trying to get yourself killed?"
"Are you tired of living? You'd bully Jiang Jiang for these people?"
"Get on your knees and apologize to Jiang Jiang!"
"How did I raise a piece of trash like you? Is this how you've been bullying Jiang Jiang behind my back?"
The fans are left reeling. They can't understand how their parents, who had always opposed their idol worship, became fans of Jiang Jiang, an ordinary person.
What they don't know is that while Jiang Jiang's middle-aged fans may not know how to boost rankings or control online comments, they gave birth to kids who do.
------Bonus Scene------
A fan group for a certain young actress:
[This time, we're definitely getting our girl to first place!]
[Let's go! One vote from you, one from me, and she'll debut tomorrow!]
[Our girl is so cute. I'll use all my pocket money to support her!]
One day later, the votes are announced. Their girl is dead last.
Bystander: [Didn't you say you'd get her to first place?]
[My mom said she'd cut off my allowance if I didn't vote for Su Jiang...]
[...My parents said the same thing.]
[My mom took my phone and voted for Su Jiang. She said if I dared to secretly vote for our girl, she'd send me to work at a construction site.]
[My mom didn't do that, but she said she'd give me ten yuan for every hour I spent managing comments for Jiang Jiang. I did it all day and forgot to vote.]
When other idols get criticized, their fans rush to the comments to manage the discussion.
When Jiang Jiang gets criticized, her fans...
A domineering middle-aged CEO splashes out on a giveaway, with the condition that you help manage comments for Jiang Jiang.
A balding programmer at a major tech company works overtime to create a program that automatically tracks and reports haters.
A famous actor known for war films posts late at night, calling on people to stop mindlessly hating on Jiang Jiang.
A team of lawyers aged 35 and up announces that they will represent Jiang Jiang free of charge.
Fans of other stars look at all this and fall into deep thought. So this is what idol worship is supposed to be like? Were we just playing pretend?
Bystanders are stunned for a hundred years. Th-this is kind of funny, but also so badass!
Reading Guide:
1. Sweet, satisfying, and unapologetically indulgent. Since she used to be a game character, her personality has some flaws early on, but she'll improve later.
2. The male lead is basically a background character. The author isn't good at romance.
3. The entire story is fictional, with no real-life inspirations!
4. The villains are made stupid.
"A Child Prodigy in a Period Novel After Quick Transmigration":
After traveling through 100 worlds, Chu Luo decides to settle down in one of them.
But just as she sets off, she runs into a space-time disturbance, loses her memory, and transmigrates into a period novel as a minor character who's about to die young.
The minor character's family is a terrible bunch who take up half the original story. Her death is the spark that sets the terrible family against the protagonists' family.
Now Chu Luo is here, and the minor character survives, but the terrible family is still just as awful as ever.
Chu Luo, meanwhile, inherits the "terrible" personality of the comparison family's daughter. She's especially lazy:
If she can avoid doing something, she won't do it. If she can do less, she'll do less. If she absolutely has to do it, she'll put it off.
After her fifth birthday, Chu Luo discovers that she can always see a book in her dreams. She asks the book how to avoid working, and it tells her, "Study hard and make progress every day."
And so, the once-lazy Chu Luo goes badly off course.
To save herself a couple of steps on the way to the factory, Chu Luo builds a wooden contraption that goes faster than a bicycle.
To avoid working in the fields, Chu Luo makes a drone by hand from junk at the salvage yard.
At last, her talent gets noticed by the higher-ups, and Chu Luo is recommended for a special class for gifted children.
Chu Luo thinks that joining the special class will let her "enjoy an early retirement," but it turns out to be just as hard as before.
So, to get out of work, Chu Luo keeps making little inventions.
In the end, she becomes the youngest academician in history.
Chu Luo scratches her head. "Why does it feel like I haven't gotten any lazier?"
Theme: Strive tirelessly to improve yourself.
Um, although, these two newcomers are only in their thirties at most, and they were only in their teens twenty years ago. Is it really possible to fall in love with a person so deeply or a paper person? The author might as well set this to be a world fifteen years later, that would be more reasonable.
Jiaojiao should have given the book to my female goose! I'm so happy
It's actually not bad, not as bad as the person downstairs said, but the ending is indeed a bit rushed.
Alas, I really regret that I didn't discover such a good article until now. The author is so great, you must work hard!
It feels like a lot of things are unfinished and the ending is very rushed.
Is this how the boss's family educates the heirs? The Naha family's industry won't last long, right?
Probably no worse than them. The author has made a lot of typos recently, and they could use some corrections.
Hey, when will you continue to update the article?
How old is Xiang Yue? How old is Lin Jiaojiao? I always jump out of the drama and say that I played that game 20 years ago. Can you tell me how old they are?
Hehehehe, Jiang Jiang and Jiaojiao...
