Romances between female leads who transmigrate into books and some dangerous nonhuman beings.
[Story 1: Coffin-Bearing Hound]
To escape an arranged marriage, she hides in her family's forbidden grounds.
Deep in the grounds, evil spirits walk, suppressing the land's ill fortune.
For a hundred years, the skeletal ghost has obeyed its ancestors' dying command and guarded the coffin, until she comes running in barefoot, dressed in her wedding gown. From then on, it has a new master.
[Story 2: Lost Bird]
"Officer, I want to commit a crime against you."
The girl reaches out to the angel escorting her, her shackles clanking.
The angel is as beautiful as a sculpture, strict, cold, and distant.
But in the prophecy, it softly kisses the chafed wrist beneath her shackles, its cheeks flushed crimson, passionate as a bursting pomegranate and frantic as a lost bird.
[Story 3: Nine-Lives Cat]
Her ex-boyfriend died.
She wiped away her tears, moved on, and found a new boyfriend.
But at her wedding to the new boyfriend, her ex showed up.
[Story 4: Electric Sheep]
When she opens her eyes, she finds herself in a mechanical city.
The city is empty, with only one soul there: shy and kind, as innocent and harmless as a lamb.
She doesn't know that it isn't a soul, but an artificial intelligence that destroyed the entire city.
[Story 4: Emerald Dragon]
Three years after the princess is taken by an evil dragon, she returns to the empire as a dragon rider.
To the empire, the princess and the dragon are a knight and her tamed lizard. To the dragon valley, they are a giant dragon and its beloved toy.
The dragon in question doesn't overthink it. Their arrangement is simple: one gold coin for a belly rub.
"But I have a monopoly on this business. You can't pay for anyone else's belly rubs."
[Story 5: Suspended Spider]
A mysterious invitation leads her backstage at a concert hall.
There she finds the idol she's admired for years, a talented, lonely, and aloof pianist.
The invitation never mentions that backstage also leads to his/her spider's nest.
[Story 6: Black-Footed Cat]
The battle nun sheltering her is proud, petite, and chaste.
A rose rosary coils around her gloves, and a black veil conceals her face.
Not an inch of skin is exposed, except for the tip of a tail.
*Sweet romances with nonhuman beings, with a hint of horror.
*Nonhuman beings without horror would be like roast lamb without cumin: no soul.
*This is probably horror in disguise. If it gets too scary, even this timid pigeon will be frightened.
Theme: Love makes people brave.
