Legend has it that Cupid, the god of love, has four beautiful angels under his command. They are the Angels of Love, Hate, Passion, and Vengeance, each responsible for the love and hatred, passion and feuds of the human world. Each has a different mission, yet their fates are closely intertwined.
Though they all serve Cupid, they are not treated equally, and each has her own personality.
The Angel of Love is the eldest of the four. Cute and clever, she is a kindhearted young woman, lively and cheerful, bringing love to everyone around her. All the angels in heaven adore her, and Cupid dotes on her in particular.
The Angel of Hate is a naturally beautiful and pure-hearted young woman. Though she is responsible for bringing hatred to the human world, she herself feels no hatred toward anyone. She treats everyone with the same cool indifference, giving off an air of detachment from worldly affairs.
The Angel of Passion is a beautiful, captivating woman, warm and outgoing, who moves people with passion. Of the four angels, she is closest to Love. The two are like sisters, sharing every hardship.
The Angel of Vengeance is a true ice beauty. As her name suggests, Cupid's favoritism toward Love leaves her resentful, so she opposes Love at every turn, always hoping to defeat her one day and become the foremost of the four angels. But things never go her way. Their contests always end with Love turning hatred into affection. She cannot accept it, cannot bear to always come second to Love, Hate, and Passion. At last, one day, she secretly escapes from heaven to vent her vengeance in the human world.
