Forgetting Attachments GL [Infinite]

Gu Xiaomeng died in an assassination.

She closed her eyes in a rainy alley and opened them among broken weapons and crumbling walls.

The instant her thoughts began to work again, an ethereal voice, as if from beyond the heavens, sounded in her mind:

“Welcome to the Death Trial Grounds. This is a way station where you will stay for a short time. Survive nine trials, and God will grant you any wish.”

Gu Xiaomeng gave a mocking laugh. “What a load of nonsense.”

The dead could not come back to life. How could that god grant her wish?

But when she gripped her hunting rifle and dodged the stench of zombies as she entered the abandoned building, a familiar, slender figure came into view. In a daze, a thought arose:

Maybe her wish really had come true.

As her hunting rifle pressed against the person's brow, aimed at those faintly gray eyes, as she pulled the trigger and blood and brains burst before her eyes, she truly believed her wish had come true.

Li Ningyu...

* Happy ending. A derivative fanfic of the TV adaptation of The Wind Blows From Longxi, featuring Yu-Meng.

* OOC is guaranteed. This is a reimagining based on the characters in the original drama, exploring all kinds of different possibilities, though I probably won't handle them very well. If this isn't the Yu-Meng you imagine, please don't curse me out.

* A bloodthirsty, unhinged, living devil of a Gu Xiaomeng, and Sister Yu, whom Gu Xiaomeng treats like a “living bodhisattva” (not really).

* [Not angst-focused] Important: the events in the blurb take place in the first instance.

* Infinite flow. Any resemblance to other stories is purely coincidental (or because the tropes are everywhere).

* The writing is amateurish and reads like a diary, the plot is nonsensical and a mess. Read with caution, and stay away if it's not your thing.

Warnings:

1. The content of the blurb might count as a warning?

2. Xiao Gu isn't a good person in the conventional sense.

3. There are some scenes of Sister Yu chasing after her wife after losing her.

4. I won't abandon the story, but I can't guarantee I won't get tired of writing and cut a lot or give it a rushed ending.
