[Adorable tentacled bottom / caters to every kink / college romance between an Alpha and a mushroom]

Shi You is a Beta mushroom who mutated into human form.

His pheromones have been unstable since childhood, so he needs regular nurturing. Lately, he's also been showing signs of presenting as an Omega. With a mushroom's unusual physiology, it's hard to find a suitable pheromone spray.

Then one day at Jing University, Shi You met an Alpha majoring in botany.

The Alpha's pheromones smelled of cool fir, a woody scent perfect for autumn and a mushroom's favorite.

So Shi You, desperately in need of a nurturing Host, climbed right onto Lu Yicheng's bed and got straight to the point:

“Um, I'm a mushroom, and I'm an Omega. Would you be interested in taking care of me?”

Lu Yicheng: “...”

What the hell?

Lu Yicheng is the young master of the Lu family, cool and abstinent, with broad shoulders, a slim waist, and a height of 188 centimeters. He has the face of a bad-boy Alpha, but he's actually a botanist who devotes himself to research.

His family has recently been setting him up on dates, and on a friend's advice, he plans to find a partner to fend off his other admirers.

He never expected a Beta who smelled strongly of pheromones to come up to him and ask if he wanted to raise a mushroom.

Yeah, right. Hilarious.

Then he watched, wide-eyed, as the pretty little thing wrapped him in soft, delicate fungal tendrils and asked in a soft, timid voice:

“...Could you maybe be into tentacle play?”

Lu Yicheng, whose eyes had been opened: “...”

Wow.

Lu Yicheng agreed to help Shi You get through another round of pheromone nurturing.

Sixteen hours together every day: hand-holding, hugs, cuddling, pheromone soothing. Nothing was left out.

Lu Yicheng took such good care of the mushroom that, once the nurturing period was over, Shi You felt a little embarrassed.

Shi You thought that an Alpha this wonderful shouldn't have to be selfishly monopolized by him anymore.

The next day, Shi You told Lu Yicheng, “You should stop taking care of me. If you keep it up, you really won't have any admirers left. What if you end up alone forever?”

Lu Yicheng looked up at him with dark eyes, then set the breakfast he'd made in front of Shi You. For once, his usually stern face showed a hint of hurt. “Are you breaking up with me?”

Shi You: “?”

When had they ever been dating?

#I thought we had a pure caretaker-and-mushroom relationship

#I thought you were my respected Host, but you were thinking about being my husband

A 1v1 sugary-sweet romance!!!

An adorable, soft, slightly unhinged, straightforward Beta mushroom (later presents as an Omega) × a seemingly cold, secretly scheming Alpha who is a devoted husband, masterful ninja, and jealous king

[Please note]

1. The bottom has tentacles and is an adorable beauty who's clueless about love, innocently blurts out what's on his mind, and is very cute! The top is a Daddy type, and their sex can be somewhat S. If that's not your thing, don't read! The couple are completely on different wavelengths, and the bottom pursues the top early on. Not suitable for readers with any extreme character preferences! The top spoils the bottom, and the bottom spoils the top! Both are virgins and each other's first love!

2. A light, everyday slice-of-life story, with the bottom always snuggling up to the top, and the top getting jealous and working himself up into a pervert. Sweet and fun above all! The Beta presents as an Omega, and the mushroom is adorably unhinged.

3. The academic and scientific aspects are somewhat idealized. Both leads put their studies first.

Thesis: Studying comes before everything!
