A winter story, opening in winter~
In snowy December, Ye Zhen worked part-time as a cashier at RT-Mart.
Every day, it was restocking, taking money, restocking, taking money...
Until one evening, as she sat at the register, she looked up and caught sight of a refined-looking young man buying a cold drink.
At that one glance, Ye Zhen felt her heart, chilled to the core from killing fish at RT-Mart, start beating again.
She began plotting how to get closer to him, and how to confess her feelings in an awkward but polite way.
But the night before she was going to confess, the young man suddenly disappeared.
Her heart went plop and fell back to the ground.

After her leave of absence ended, Ye Zhen returned to school.
Her roommate's phone was playing an interview with Xu Jingmo, the top-tier star who had recently shot to fame.
Ye Zhen had never followed celebrities, but she froze at the sound of that familiar voice she hadn't heard in so long.
The host asked Xu Jingmo if he had someone he liked.
He gave a slight nod. "Yes."
"Can I ask when it happened?"
"Last winter."
Finally, the host asked what he most wanted to do after finishing his period of seclusion.
He was silent for a long time, then looked straight into the camera with dark eyes. "I want to go to the supermarket and confess while I'm there."
"Stop killing fish. I'll take care of you."
