Synopsis

Yue Ximing and Qiao Yang grew up together as childhood sweethearts, but circumstances kept them apart for four long years, without a word from either of them.

When Yue Ximing later returned to the country, her childhood sweetheart had become a famous cartoonist, with admirers lined up around the block.

Yue Ximing thought their feelings had faded, but then she got the news that something had happened to Qiao Yang.

She rushed to the hospital and immediately spotted Qiao Yang, her head wrapped in bandages.

The moment their eyes met, Qiao Yang's eyes reddened. "You can stop wanting me, fine, but you don't want your daughter either?"

Everyone nearby turned scornful looks on Yue Ximing.

Yue Ximing: Where did she get a daughter?

Wondering if she'd heard wrong, she asked, "Say that again?"

Qiao Yang shouted at the top of her lungs, "You're a heartless A!"

Yue Ximing: ?!

The doctor hurried over and pulled Yue Ximing aside, looking grave.

"She suffered a severe blow to the head, and her memory is impaired. She thinks she's a poor O who was abandoned by a heartless A."

"That's right, you're the heartless A in her fantasy."

One day later, after Qiao Yang's memory returned, she packed up and fled that very night.

Her best friend asked in confusion, "What did you do?"

Qiao Yang swallowed her bitter drink, heart aching. "My brain went haywire, and I treated the childhood sweetheart I've had a crush on for eight years like a heartless A."

Taking advantage of her moral high ground, she not only acted like Yue Ximing's wife, but constantly demanded hugs and repeatedly begged for kisses.

She ordered Yue Ximing around and got handsy with her, completely shameless.

Now that she was back to her senses, how was she supposed to face that devious childhood sweetheart of hers?

Her best friend pointed at someone. "Is that the childhood sweetheart you mean?"

Qiao Yang jolted and covered her eyes, unable to face her.

Behind her, Yue Ximing laughed in exasperation.

"Why run? Did I not pay child support, or fail to fulfill my duties as your wife?"

Qiao Yang: QAQ

Gentle on the outside, wicked at heart x stubborn, soft-hearted tsundere

My Reading List (Mostly Top-Focused GL)

I feel like I've read so many books, only to forget what happened in all of them. I'll revisit them slowly... My reviews and content warnings are pretty random, based on what I remember.

Fully Subscribed Yuri

Task: I'll sort this out and change the ones that need it to five stars.

Girls' Love, Top-Centric

I love sweet stories and read pretty much every genre. Most are light and funny, with little angst, mutual doting, and two strong leads.

Personal Reading Log: Yuri with a Top

Mostly stories with a male protagonist. I mainly add entries as I read, but I also add books I've finished and still remember vividly. I'd love to hear from people who understand the feeling of reaching a point in a book where you don't need or want to keep reading.

Lesbian Romance I Love and Keep Coming Back To

Great for people with broad tastes. I don’t mind whether the protagonist is the top or the bottom, so this list has a bit of everything that suits my personal preferences (yuri only; I only read yuri).

Favorite Yuri Stories, Currently Being Edited

Yuri novels I personally enjoy. I bought some older ones on another account that I lost, so I may not remember everything, and I was less sensitive to my dealbreakers back then.

Sweet Treats (GL)

I just prefer my GL on the sweeter side. Guaranteed sweetness!

Girls’ Love, Top-Focused

Most are top-centric. The switches lean more toward the top's perspective. There are two or three bottom-centric books, but when I read them, I generally preferred the top's perspective. Most are sweet, with only a little angst.

Lesbians Beneath the Orange Trees in the Lily Garden (1)

This list is only for books I read after July 9, 2024 (P.S. I at least read until the couple got together). Mainly here so I don't forget the plots. I just can't let them go.

Yuri Novels: A Personal Avoidance List

A high rating doesn't mean there are no dealbreakers. I decide what bothers me, so don't tell me what to put on my list. (Includes common dealbreakers, personal dealbreakers, and stories I wouldn't reread.)

Girls' Love (Pretty Good)

Certain aspects, like the plot (in most cases) or character settings, slightly dampened my desire to read, but overall they're still highly readable and good stories. Just my personal opinion.
