Xie Yirui, a salted fish who has become a spirit, has one great dream in life: to have food, drink, and someone to wait on him. He envies pandas most and dreams of becoming a national treasure.
To make his dream come true, he prays fervently to the Great God of Jinjiang every day: "Omnipotent Great God of Jinjiang, so many people transmigrate into the Jinjiang universe. One more won't make any difference. Please let me transmigrate into a national treasure! As long as I can eat, sleep, and do nothing, I'll gladly eat nothing but vegetables for the rest of my life."
This cunning oath enrages the Great God of Jinjiang. He smiles wickedly. "You want to transmigrate into an animal that will spend its life in prison?"
Xie Yirui nods furiously. The Great God of Jinjiang sneers. "Fine! I'll grant your wish."
Xie Yirui gets his wish. With the divine power of the Great God of Jinjiang's metaverse behind him, he transmigrates again and again into animals that will spend their lives in prison.
Xie Yirui is satisfied... not! Wait, Great God, did you get something wrong? What happened to becoming a national treasure and eating, sleeping, and doing nothing? Why do I have to fight for my life every time?
