First, she comes into a windfall, then, for no reason she can figure out, she is honored as the sect leader. To help her grandfather with something, she has no desire or ability to take on the absurd job of sect leader, so she runs away. By a twist of fate, she passes the audition for a girl-group survival show and dazzles everyone on the first stage. Meanwhile, the sect members sent to drag Xiao Yuchi back and make her sect leader also join the competition. To reach the finals, Xiao Yuchi needs to latch onto someone powerful. She sets her sights on Qin Moting, a popular candidate for debut. Qin Moting never imagined she would reunite with a kindergarten classmate on a survival show. Even less did she expect that someone who couldn't sing or dance and had nothing to do with the arts would become her biggest rival. Least of all did she expect that, surrounded by beautiful women, she would fall for a block of wood. They are both easy on the eyes, but their vibes couldn't be more different: Qin Moting: Put on sunglasses, and I don't love anyone. Xiao Yuchi: Put on sunglasses, and I'll tell your fortune for five yuan. Before the competition Qin Moting: Don't tell anyone we know each other. Xiao Yuchi: Okay. During the competition They have been teammates and rivals, shared good food and gone hungry together, gotten drenched in the rain and sweated together, reached the heights and weathered the lows. For three months, they eat, live, and work side by side. They get along well, with the occasional squabble. Qin Moting: You're such a block of wood. Xiao Yuchi: Um, my Five Elements element is water, not wood. Qin Moting: ... Xiao Yuchi: Um, your element is wood. You're the block of wood. Qin Moting: ??? Fine, not a block of wood. An idiot. After the competition The stoic center becomes a crybaby. Note: The selection process is shown in full. The competition format is based on Produce 101, with no real-life models.
