Assassination Squad: Diavolo's Seven Acts of Virtue

Good heavens, Diavolo, the so-called Evil Emperor, has accidentally brought about seven good deeds on the streets of Naples.

But did you know that Prosciutto and the others had a chance to make a fortune?

1. The real protagonists are the assassination team. This is a lighthearted, absurd practice piece full of overused jokes, bugs, and out-of-character moments. It’s just for fun, so don’t take it too seriously.

2. The title is a reference to Caravaggio’s The Seven Works of Mercy. But the good deeds here don’t mean acts of kindness. They’re “good things” or “lucky breaks” that would be unlikely to happen in the original.

3. I wrote this to ease the pain of working on My Venice. Thinking about what comes next in that story is more soporific than doing math, so it really won’t be updating anytime soon.
