A Tantrum [An Old-School Tormented Romance]

Lin Xi knew that many people talked behind her back, calling her shameless for loving Gu Xiao so much that she had no dignity or sense of self. She was a rich, beautiful heiress, yet lived like an unbelievably stupid villainess. Gu Xiao treated her coldly, but she kept throwing herself at him to amuse him. She proposed to him, and when he refused, she found a way to save face on her own. Even when Gu Xiao's ex-girlfriend returned and became his personal secretary, Lin Xi showed no sign of wanting to break up with him. Only Lin Xi knew that after her parents died in a car accident, Gu Xiao had taken her hand and pulled her back up. Like a baby bird imprinting on its parent, she saw him as her salvation. She couldn't live without him. But how long does it take to reach despair? Maybe a day, maybe two... or perhaps just an instant. Suddenly, she came to her senses. The world was so beautiful, so why did she have to hang herself from one tree? So she said to him, "I don't love you anymore. Let's break up." Gu Xiao watched coldly as Lin Xi threw a fit and fell apart, refusing to listen to any explanation. In a fit of anger, he said, "Do whatever you want." And then... he lost her, and could never find her again. Note: Bad ending. Read with caution! Updates whenever inspiration strikes. Theme: Only by being independent can you have dignity.
