Batman: The Weary Bird

Because I was stuck at home and couldn't go see the new Batman, I started catching up on the old Dark Knight trilogy. No matter how much time passes, I really do love Batman!!!!

It's a story about a world-weary older sister who got a 90 on the app and Bruce, my darling!!!

Although I mainly update Arknights next door, this one should be finished within ten chapters (I'll do my best), just to satisfy my own fantasies.

"What is it that traps me?"

"Is it reality, this world? Or the love of others?"

"Am I trapped by the pain of being unable to leave this world, or by the love I can't let go of?"

On a pitch-black, rainy night, the Dark Knight stands in the shadows, watching his lover, soaked by the rain, not far away. He watches them laugh out loud, dance in the darkness, and reveal an expression of despair and acceptance.

For one brief moment, he almost agrees with what they are doing.

But when they fall, he still holds onto their hand with all his might.

"I'm sorry."

These are words he cannot say, whether as a lover or as the Dark Knight.

He says,

"I caught you."
