After I Pretended to Mistake Him for My Boyfriend

On Qixi Festival, Zhen Miao got into a car accident on her way to meet her boyfriend.

She woke up in the hospital with intermittent memory loss and a distorted perception of reality, mistaking her lifelong rival, Zhou Chi, for her boyfriend.

One moment, she'd slap Zhou Chi and scold him for not taking their relationship seriously and letting her down. The next, she'd kiss and cuddle him, wanting to spend eternity together.

The Zhou and Zhen families had helped each other out, and Zhou Chi was pressured by his elders into playing along.

But he secretly recorded lots of footage of Zhen Miao asking him for kisses and cuddles, planning to use it to tease her once her memory came back!

Later, Zhen Miao did indeed recover her memory.

By then, Zhou Chi had already gotten carried away pretending to be her boyfriend. But for the sake of his pride, at a bar gathering, he showed the recordings to everyone and mercilessly made fun of Zhen Miao.

To his surprise, the girl stared at him expressionlessly. When he finished, she parted her red lips and scoffed: "I forgot to tell you, I never lost my memory. I was just bored and teasing you. You actually fell for it?"

Zhou Chi was shaken to the core, and his eyes reddened on the spot.

But Zhen Miao only smiled and walked away without a backward glance, her delicate heels clicking against the ground.

Later, someone saw Zhou Chi, the young master who had always been at odds with Zhen Miao, standing in the rain all night outside the Zhen family home, begging her to keep teasing him.
