When Will the Bright Moon Shine on My Return? [Journey to the West]

As a lover of ancient culture, Ming Yuenu could recite five thousand years of history by heart. After repeatedly studying the Four Great Classical Novels, she'd even become a die-hard fan of Sun Wukong! But as a staunch materialist, Ming Yuenu never dreamed she'd transmigrate. Even less did she expect to end up in the Warring States period, stranded on a deserted island. Fortunately, as a modern person, Ming Yuenu was highly adaptable. She started clearing land with her bare hands, reassuring herself: Far from civilization, no wars, fresh air, good for my health! When she discovered a strange boulder, she stayed calm: A work of supernatural craftsmanship. Nature is the true artist! Then she kept her distance, just in case a Jia Baoyu from Dream of the Red Chamber leaped out of it one day. It wasn't until a fuzzy little monkey appeared in an explosion in the sky that Ming Yuenu nodded in understanding. "So this is Journey to the West." She redoubled her efforts to cultivate the land, building boats, gathering seafood, making salt and brewing wine, and grafting existing fruit trees to cultivate new varieties... Anything this era didn't have, she would use her modern knowledge to make for the little monkey to try. Later, the little monkey stole her fishing boat. When he returned, he could ride the clouds and do anything, speaking ancient Chinese she couldn't understand, yet clearly understanding what she wanted to say. Years later: Beneath a lonely city, a rain of arrows filled the sky. Ming Yuenu showed not the slightest hint of panic, only a trace of acceptance. As she fell, she slowly raised a hand toward the sky and murmured, "A life is made of meeting, understanding, parting, and beginning again after a thousand years. A Zhao, wait a little longer. We'll soon meet in the next cycle..." Reader's guide: This is an unserious story about building from the ground up, and the building is all for survival. There are some tearjerker moments. The female lead's official pairing is not the Great Sage. Her relationship with the Great Sage is primarily friendship. The Great Sage's emotionally clueless, all-around powerhouse characterization is set in stone!!! No conspiracy theories or claims that anyone is a pawn!!! The official love interest isn't the strongest, but he's undoubtedly an outstanding graduate of the School of Exemplary Men, shining in his own right! Theme: Use your own hard work to build a beautiful home.
